We are a family-friendly, loving Christian community that seeks to encourage each person to come to the assurance of forgiveness of sins through trust in the Lord Jesus, and to serve our neighbors in the callings that God has given us. Please join us as we study God's word, worship the Lord, and fellowship with His people. 

The birth of Trinity Lutheran Church occurred in a barn! A small group gathered in George Swanson's barn in 1962 to consider organizing a Lutheran church in Brookings. Since inception, TLC has been a sage home where people at all stages of their spiritual journey could grow in their ability to walk, talk, and act like Jesus wherever God leads them. Today TLC is a member of the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations.

We believe salvation is God's ultimate gift to us.

Our roots are found in a courageous man of God named Dr. Martin Luther. He challenged the non-Biblical human traditions in his beloved church.

We are affiliated with the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations (AFLC). Our congregation is free to direct its own affairs, subject only to the authority of the Bible and the Holy Spirit of God.
